Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

The Position: We are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our Irvine office. This role is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys mentoring teams, and is looking to play a key role in both tax compliance and strategic advisory services.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and corporations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
- Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, providing clear guidance to clients and internal teams
- Mentor and develop staff and senior accountants, reviewing work and supporting growth
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and implement strategic solutions for clients
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client strategy, workflow improvements, and process enhancements
Requirements
- CPA license required
- 6 years of public accounting tax experience (Manager level)
- Strong experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
- Experience reviewing and mentoring staff
