What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Loan Processor position at BancForce?
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Commercial Loan Processor opportunity with an established and reputable Credit Union.
The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Review loan files upon receipt, prepare needs lists, and ensure receipt of all documentation necessary to prepare the loan file for underwriting.
- Confirm that the borrower’s information on all documents is complete.
- Track orders for appraisals, title commitments, Phase I environmental reports, operating statements, credit reports, and any other documents required for processing the loan.
- Prepare loan documents and forward them to escrow for closing.
- Review preliminary title reports and work with the title account officer to resolve any issues.
- Manage the loan process to meet closing timeline expectations and requirements.
- Complete review of executed loan documents; disburse loan proceeds and prepare boarding sheets.
- Audit files for documentation completeness, accuracy, and proper disbursement of fees.
- Follow up with the Loan Officer, broker, or member as required for file completion.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of commercial real estate loan processing and funding experience is required.
- Experience in real estate originations, servicing, and/or closing may substitute for commercial processing experience.
- Community banking experience.
- Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- College coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 loans is helpful.
- Experience with LaserPro (including LaserPro SBA), Servicing Director, and Symitar is preferred.
Pay Rate Range : $26.00- $28.00 an hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
