This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Loan Processor based in San Diego, CA, with partial work-from-home flexibility. The Commercial Loan Processor will oversee the loan documentation process, ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Daily tasks include reviewing loan applications, preparing and verifying loan documentation, liaising with underwriters, facilitating loan closings, and addressing client inquiries. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining a high standard of service and efficiency in supporting clients’ lending needs.
- Strong knowledge of commercial loan processing, including loan documentation, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and credit underwriting processes to support accurate loan evaluation.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and the ability to process multiple loans simultaneously.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients, underwriters, and team members.
- Experience with loan origination systems and banking software; advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
- Prior banking experience, especially in commercial banking, is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
