Our Guest Experience team creates a memorable, engaging experience for every guest at our ballpark. You will act as a “ballpark host,” welcoming visitors to your “home”, being knowledgeable about the ballpark, its offerings, and our team to curate recommendations, and handling guest concerns with professionalism and good judgment. You will utilize your strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, partners, and management to provide service recovery and resolve issues efficiently. Our Guest Experience team also manages additional duties such as day-of-game lost and found, distributing celebratory items, and assisting guests that need wheelchair transportation to their seats.

Essential Job Duties & Functions
- Project a friendly, approachable attitude and present a neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Greet and warmly welcome all guests to ensure a positive first impression.
- Facilitate all guest-related matters in a professional and courteous manner.
- Serve as an information specialist about the ballpark, team, and policies to appropriately respond to guest questions.
- Clearly, effectively, and professionally interact with staff, management, ballpark partners, and guests to collaboratively solve issues.
- Exercise good judgement in utilizing service recovery methods independently.
- Manage lost & found through use of ballpark technology program and reunite guests with their items when applicable.
- Distribute first game, birthday, and celebration buttons, as well as other items as deemed appropriate based on guest information.
- Exhibit a friendly, non-confrontational and customer service focused mindset.
- Effectively communicate with other team members, leadership, partners, and guests.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Actively listen and understand feedback, direction and inquiries.
- Ability to work in all types of weather, including heat, cold and rain.
- Patience and comfortability working in large crowds in a loud environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, including walking throughout the ballpark and climbing stairs.
- Ability to push guests in wheelchairs for long distances through crowded areas of the ballpark.
- Ability to crouch and bend.
- Ability to react to various situations quickly.
- Ability to use technology applications for scheduling and job functions when necessary.
- Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance while adhering to the position’s ballpark uniform standards.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a guest-facing role
- All Event Staff positions require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as reflected by the Orioles 2026 home game schedule.
- Team Members must be available for approximately 2/3 (9 games a month) of home games for the Orioles 2026 schedule.
- Must be available to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to gates opening and stay up to 30 minutes post-game.
- Required to complete paid training prior to being approved to work game/event shifts.
