Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install vinyl, with accuracy and efficiency
- Install a wide range of windows, ensuring proper sealing, caulking, and finishing for optimal insulation and appearance
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills, saws, and pneumatic nailers to complete tasks safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety protocols on construction sites
- Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, materials needed, and potential challenges before beginning work
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow during remodeling or restoration projects involving framing, masonry, or carpentry
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding or window installation; familiarity with roofing, framing carpentry, or masonry is a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to construction projects
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
