What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Houseman/Porter position at Bally's?
Responsibility's
- Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Removes trash from closet area and compacts it
- Assist room attendants from removing trash and debris from rooms
- Transports soiled linens to laundry department
- Returns clean linens and terry to housekeeping storage on the guest floors
- Vacuums public areas
- Maintains pool area and fitness rooms
- Assist in inventory of supplies and equipment
- Shampoos carpet and buffs tile
- Sweep and mops stair wells daily
- Cleans smoking urns
- Delivers boxes of product and supplies to housekeeping department or warehouse
- Assists room attendants in cleaning rooms
- Picks up trash and debris in public areas
- Cleans shower and bathroom in pool areas
- Cleans glass on windows in public areas
- Flips mattresses quarterly
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Will be able to work varied shifts – i.e. days, nights, weekends, holidays
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
