Ballard Natural Gas Services is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and mechanically inclined Duct Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level labor position — we are looking for someone who can work independently, safely operate large equipment and box trucks, and represent our company professionally in customers' homes and job sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform residential and light commercial air duct cleaning services
- Safely operate large box trucks and vacuum equipment
- Inspect, clean, and maintain duct systems and related equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality standards
- Complete jobs efficiently while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Confident and experienced operating large box trucks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in mechanical systems or vacuum systems is a plus
- 2 years of hands-on mechanical, vacuum system, duct cleaning, or related field experience preferred
- Familiarity with vacuum measurement tools, gauges, and leak detection techniques is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, tight spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
