As a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the manufacturing operations within a designated area, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of products. You will be responsible for managing a team of production workers, implementing operational procedures, and optimizing productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership involving, but not limited to, supervise, train & motivate production team.
- Collaborate with management to develop schedules, allocate resources effectively, and meet production targets.
- Implement & enforce quality control measures. Identify process improvement while maintaining safety culture.
- Monitor inventory levels
- Prepare regular reports regarding soil production metrics
- Address production issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunction & resolve conflicts within the production team
- Foster effective communication between departments to meet production goals
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies & best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least (2 years) in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of production procedures, quality control principles, and health & safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
