Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Linen Packout Specialist for day work weeks Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm, where your attention to detail and dedication will ensure the high standards of organization in our linen services. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, organizing, and preparing clean linens for distribution to health care and food & beverage customers. This position offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Pack clean linen according to ERP and the customer par levels, bundle counts, and pack sheets
- Verify item counts using RFID systems and/or pack numbers
- Inspect linen for quality, cleanliness, and damage before packing
- Maintain accurate counts to ensure order accuracy and inventory control
- Stage packed linen for loading and delivery routes
- Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation standards
- Keep packout area clean, organized, and efficient
- Communicate shortages, overages, or quality issues to supervisors
Skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and pull weighted carts of linen
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Team-oriented with a reliable attendance record
- Previous laundry or production experience preferred (but not required)
