About The Role
Job Description:
- Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to access physical conditions, limitations, and pain. Collaborate with patients to establish personalized treatment goals aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
- Treatment Planning & Implementation: Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Educate patients on injury prevention, exercises, and home care strategies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Provide clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Patient Education & Support: Offer guidance. Provide resources for continuing pelvic health care, including at-home exercises and self-care practices.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations. Ensure documentation reflects patients' treatment plans, progress, and follow-up needs.
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy | Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Program
- Current Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico
- Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
- Possess and enhances up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for patients
- Demonstrates a “servitude” attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills as to manage daily case load
- Strong leadership qualities
- Basic computer skills
- Perform related duties as required!
