Job Posting: MIG Welders
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), commonly known as MIG Welding
Location: Manteca, CA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders (GMAW) with structural steel experience to support modular construction production. This role is responsible for welding structural steel components according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding (GMAW) experience required
- Structural steel welding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must arrive on the first day with steel-toed shoes (required)
- Resume required for review
- Background check required
Additional Information
This position follows an Alternative Work Schedule (AWS). Overtime is paid for any hours worked over 10 in a day or over 40 in a week. All candidates must sign an AWS agreement prior to starting.
