Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Direct Hire
Location: Burlington, WA
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 annually 15% annual bonus eligibility (Relocation assistance available)

We’re seeking an experienced Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing processes for solar module production. This role is critical for improving equipment efficiency, product quality, and maximizing throughput while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Hire, train, and manage manufacturing engineering staff.
- Mentor and coach team members; support career development.
- Communicate effectively across departments and nationwide facilities.
Process Development & Improvement
- Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes and standards.
- Drive PFMEA, VSMs, and Standard Work Instructions.
- Lead kaizen projects and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Collaborate with New Product Development to transition NPIs into production.
Project Management
- Plan, schedule, and budget engineering projects.
- Support equipment quotations, installation, and debugging.
- Manage automation troubleshooting and compliance with standards.
- Lead trial runs and ensure successful project deliverables.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 years of leadership experience in automated manufacturing.
- Expertise in SPC, DOE, Process Capability Analysis, and VSM.
- Familiarity with DFSS and Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt experience highly valued).
- Strong technical project management skills.
- Experience with robotics, PLCs (Control Logix), VFDs, HMIs, and automation systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
