Material Handling Technician: The Impact You’ll Have on the Organization and World
- You’ll be part of the operations that keep our plant running safely and efficiently. You’ll ensure that materials flow seamlessly from production to storage to shipping, making sure every product reaches our customers on time and in excellent condition.
- You’ll gain hands-on experience with SAP systems, forklift operations, and quality inspections—skills that are vital to a world-class manufacturing environment.
- You’ll help keep our people safe. You’ll follow strict safety procedures and contribute to a culture that prioritizes housekeeping, HazMat compliance, and safe equipment operation.
- You’ll ensure accuracy and quality. From maintaining precise inventory records in SAP to inspecting finished goods pallets before they leave the floor, you’ll be a critical link in ensuring product excellence.

Here are your primary responsibilities:
- Perform SAP transactions to maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts for warehouse-managed and general storage areas.
- Generate and apply labels to support production and shipping activities.
- Perform quality inspections on finished goods pallets before transferring them to Warehouse 3.
- Transport finished goods to Warehouse 3 and complete SAP documentation.
- Load and unload base resin totes to support PF2 production.
- Safely operate and inspect forklifts daily.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards throughout the shift.
- Support other plant activities and perform additional duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on customer demand.
- Shift assignments may change depending on business needs.
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Certified or experienced forklift operator.
- Basic computer skills; working knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to:
- Obtain HazMat certification (training provided).
- Lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks in warehouse and production environments.
- Follow PPE requirements and safety protocols.
- 2 years of material handling experience preferred
- Previous certification in HazMat, Fire Brigade, or Emergency Response.
- Prior forklift certification.
- Experience with SAP transactions and inventory control.
- Background in manufacturing or chemical plant operations.
