Position Summary
The Plumber's Helper will assist plumbers with residential service, repair, maintenance, and installation projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
- Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assist with pipe installation, fixture replacements, and basic plumbing tasks
- Help load and unload materials and equipment
- Support troubleshooting and repair efforts under supervision
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working in customers' homes
Qualifications
- Previous plumbing, construction, HVAC, maintenance, or related experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
