Position Summary
The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components. This role plays a critical part in delivering comfortable, energy-efficient solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and ductless systems
- Install and modify ductwork as needed
- Remove and replace existing HVAC systems
- Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
- Test equipment to verify proper operation and performance
- Complete installation paperwork and job documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous HVAC installation experience preferred
- EPA Certification preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation practices
- Ability to read blueprints, installation diagrams, and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
