Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Back of House Bakery Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the bakery’s daily operations, ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods in a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of operating bakery equipment, and experienced in high-volume production settings.
Responsibilities
- Operate various bakery equipment safely and efficiently to assist in baking processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold food safety standards
- Prepare dough and assist with the assembly of baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Support the production of baked items in high-volume settings to meet daily demands
- Manage food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Assist with other bakery tasks as needed to support team operations and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in high-volume bakery production or similar food manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within a bakery setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaborative work environments
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
