As a Senior Configuration Analyst- Data Reporting your key responsibilities will be:
- Data Collection: Gathering data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers.
- Data Analysis: Cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Report Creation: Designing and generating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Data Interpretation: Interpreting data results, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Presenting findings and insights to stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and other teams.
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Explain solutions, practices, and procedures to others in the organization according to procedure
- Create and maintain documentation for tools used to support configuration management.
- Request additional information from originator when needed
- Respond to inquiries from engineering personnel regarding metrics/reporting for all Configuration management data requests
- Work daily in a PLM (product lifecycle management) system
- Maintain an effective working relationship with customers and configuration management personnel
- Support Operational Excellence efforts to promote consistency with CM reporting practices across the engineering directorate
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, AWS
- Good computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare appropriate metrics, reports and documents
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills
- Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Motivation to maintain currency and increase proficiency in the discipline
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Data Modeling
- Understanding of business operations and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience applying industry standards and meeting government requirements
- General knowledge of relevant configuration management and design engineering standards, manufacturing processes and documentation including military standards MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, industry CM standard
- MS Excel advanced user knowledge of complex formulas, MS Access, SQL and VBA coding skills desirable
- Oracle ERP experience desirable
- CM Certification such as CMPIC, NDIA #LI-DNI
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
