Enterprise Server Backup Administrator

Job Description
Administration of Commvault and VEEAM backup systems, to include monitoring and troubleshooting backup issues, configuring backups of new backup subclients, removal of decommissioned backup subclients, performing data restores from backups, reporting backup statistics each month, and managing Virtual Server Agent backups and restores of VMware VMs. Coordinate with Commvault and VEEAM vendor personnel to resolve backup software problems and issues. On-call rotation is one week out of five; candidate must be able to respond to calls via company phone within 15 minutes and able to connect company laptop by VPN within one hour for the entire 7 day on-call period. Add/remove backup infrastructure servers. Assist in documenting backup infrastructure. Perform assigned Compliance tasks. Work with Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) team to resolve backup issues, when needed.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of and experience using the VEEAM backup product to configure and maintain server backup operations is required. Commvault backup operational training will be provided.
• No clearance is needed to join the team, but the candidate must be able to qualify for a Secret clearance over time.
• Ability to work with a team of experienced Commvault administrators who have worked together for several years.
• Facility with using ServiceNow would be a big plus.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982
