Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operators to join our client's growing team in the Fox Valley. This role involves interpreting blueprints, understanding tolerances, and producing high-quality parts to precise specifications.
Primary Duties:
- Operate and program CNC press brakes to form and bend various metal components according to blueprint specifications
- Interpret and understand engineering blueprints, including dimensional tolerances and bend allowances
- Set up and adjust press brakes, including tooling changes, to ensure accurate and efficient production
- Perform quality checks on finished parts using measuring tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to specifications
- Maintain accurate records of production data and quality control checks
- Work independently and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure that all produced parts meet the company's quality standards
Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM. Occasional overtime will be scheduled on a Friday.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of brake press experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods throughout each shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
