Job Summary
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling components and parts to build Bad Boy Tractors in accordance with company quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring our tractors meet design specifications and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble tractor components, subassemblies, and parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to standardized work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to perform accurate assembly.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate hoists, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment to aid assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S and safety guidelines.
- Identify and report defective parts, materials, or processes to the supervisor.
- Meet daily production goals while minimizing scrap and rework.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production needs.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift regularly.
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Tolerance for working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
