Pay: $24 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

About the Job
We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant who is very organized and likes to get things done.
In this job, you will help with:
- Keeping our to-do lists in our project management system up to date
- Hiring and onboarding new staff
- Helping with schedules
- Making sure employee paperwork and background checks stay current
What You Will Do
1. Tasks & Follow-Up
- Check our current project management system often to make sure no tasks are “stuck” or late.
- Ensure team members finish their tasks by deadlines given.
- Give people their next steps when needed.
- Tell the Hiring Manager if something in our systems are broken or needs fast attention.
2. Hiring & Onboarding New Staff
- Offer jobs to applicants and start background checks right away.
- Collect all required documents from new hires.
- Make sure documents meet our rules and standards.
- Ensure new hires send in paperwork by given deadlines.
- Tell the Hiring Manager if there are delays or problems.
- Make sure background checks are finished and sent to Administration.
- Assign the right supervisors to new BHPs and update this in our systems.
3. Scheduling Support
- Help build and change staff schedules so client and program needs are met.
- Help the Hiring/Scheduling team when extra support is needed.
- Help keep work moving when the Director is away.
4. Keeping Things Up to Date for Current Employees
- Run new background checks when old ones expire.
- Make sure important documents are updated before they expire.
- Ensure staff send new documents by deadlines and track when they do.
- Tell the Hiring Manager if there are any problems with paperwork or systems.
What We Are Looking For
- You pay close attention to details.
- You follow through and finish what you start.
- You can manage your time well and handle many tasks.
- You are comfortable using computer systems and checklists (ASANA is a plus).
- You can write and speak clearly and politely.
- Experience in hiring, HR, scheduling, or office work is helpful, but not required.
