Tort Defense Paralegal (In-House | Full-Time)
We’re seeking an experienced Tort Defense Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of their work from day one.
What You’ll Do:
- Support attorneys in tort defense matters, including trucking cases, premises liability, product liability, and negligence
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Order and manage medical records
- Handle a variety of core paralegal responsibilities with precision and efficiency
- Accurately track and manage time in a insurance defense billing environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on tort defense experience (required – no training available)
- Proven experience with discovery, medical records, and case management
- Strong understanding of insurance defense billing and time accountability
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Compensation:
- Salary range: $50,000 – $65,000, depending on experience
