Production Support/Maintenance

BandS Machine Shop has an opening for general shop floor help and support.

This position is for general shop and grounds maintenance and could possibly lead to a production position within our company. (Production position is using machine tools to manufacture customer parts)

Daily task will include

• Managing materials for recycling
• Emptying recycle barrels
• Keeping the shop clean
• Emptying trash barrels
• Running errands
• Maintaining Lube levels in our equipment
• Mechanical equipment repairs
• Production assistance
• Painting equipment as well as manufactured parts
• Disassembly and assembly of coupling assemblies
  
  

Hard Skills Required

• Mechanically inclined
• Operate a forklift safely
• Lite welding a plus (but not required)
• Lite carpentry
