Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and loaders to excavate trenches, move materials, and prepare sites for septic system installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans to execute installations accurately
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure proper alignment and depth of septic components
- Assist in the assembly and installation of septic tanks, piping, and related components following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper storage and transportation of supplies
- Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy machinery operation, excavation work, and manufacturing processes to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, or backhoes in construction or manufacturing settings
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
