The Warehouse Team Lead supports the warehouse Supervisor in ensuring their designated area operates smoothly and efficiently. This role serves as a crucial intermediary between the supervisor and the team, facilitating optimal productivity throughout the day.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure efficient receiving, picking, storing and dispatch of goods.
- Perform regular checks and maintain active presence on the floor.
- Enforce safety standards.
- Assist with training new staff and provide ongoing mentorship.
- Liaise with other departments for smooth operations.
- Partner with supervisor to drive improvement initiatives.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and operations.
- Organizational and time-management abilities.
- Physical capability for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Basic computer skills and inventory software skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training is a plus.
Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:
- Warehouse environment
- Lifting up to 50lbs
Required Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:45PM – 11:45PM AND Sunday 9:00AM-6:00PM
