Maintenance Helper – Shipyard (Day Shift, Full-Time)
Location: Lockport, Louisiana
Position Summary
The Maintenance Helper supports the upkeep of shipyard grounds and facilities, with a primary focus on grass cutting, lawn maintenance, landscaping, and general property maintenance. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance throughout the shipyard.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience using lawn care equipment and hand tools.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
- Ability to work safely and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lawn maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience.
- Experience operating commercial lawn equipment.
- Basic maintenance or equipment operation experience.
