Snow Removal Operator / Commerical Mower Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Snow Removal Operator and Commercial Mower Operator to join our landscape maintenance team. This role involves performing snow plowing and removal during winter months, as well as operating commercial mowers and landscaping equipment to maintain outdoor spaces year-round. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the safe operation of various power tools and machinery. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the upkeep of commercial properties and public spaces.

Duties

• Operate snow plows, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment efficiently during winter storms to ensure safe access for clients.
• Use commercial mowers, trimmers, and hand tools for lawn care and landscape maintenance throughout the growing season.
• Perform landscape tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, and hardscape installation as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems, perform gardening duties, and assist with horticultural projects to enhance property aesthetics.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as excavators, power tools, and landscaping machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects involving landscaping or hardscape features.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including proper handling of tools and machinery.

Requirements

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools, hand tools, excavators, and landscaping equipment are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of snow plowing techniques and equipment operation is essential for winter duties.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or tree trimming equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of horticulture, gardening practices, irrigation systems, and tree care is beneficial.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; must be comfortable working with hand tools and power equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required; experience with construction or landscaping projects is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
