Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. Duties
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to ensure healthy growth and attractive appearance.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for planting, trimming, and soil preparation.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with safety standards.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for safe operation and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators when needed for landscaping projects.
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Understanding of hardscape installation processes including pavers and retaining walls.
- Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
