Position Summary:
As a Service Writer at B&B Automotive, you will be the face of our shop, interacting directly with customers and ensuring their needs are met. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer satisfaction and facilitating smooth operations within the service department. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential in coordinating repairs, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring timely completion of service.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere
Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
Prepare accurate service estimates, ensuring transparency and clarity for the customer
Coordinate repair schedules and ensure timely completion of service
Effectively communicate with technicians, providing clear instructions and necessary information
Maintain strong product knowledge to answer customer inquiries and make appropriate recommendations
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing regular updates on service progress
Process invoices and handle customer payments
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficient computer skills for generating estimates and invoices
A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive and energetic attitude
