Responsibilities Include

  • Handling supervisory duties for the unit
  • Establishing policies and procedures
  • Mentoring less experienced nurses
  • Setting standards of care and reviewing resident records
  • Monitoring overall care and individual cases
  • Addressing resident or family questions and complaints
  • Managing medical supplies and representing the unit to management

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Long-Term Care experience
  • Minimum 1 year as a Unit Manager
  • Valid RN license
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities
