Overview: Perform computerized axial tomography procedures adhering to standards, reviewing consultation requests, obtaining patient history, ensuring billing accuracy, and documenting scans.
Responsibilities: Greet and explain procedures to patients, provide radiation safety, evaluate scan quality, assist with CT-guided procedures, prepare contrast media, monitor supplies, maintain equipment logs, and demonstrate proficiency with radiology software. Follow safety protocols, recognize emergencies, and seek ongoing education.
Qualifications: Preferably one year of CT experience, ARRT-CT certification, BLS certification, and an associate degree.
