What You'll Do
As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing swimming pool and spa equipment while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine maintenance and service on residential and commercial pools and spas.
- Test and balance pool and spa water chemistry.
- Diagnose and repair pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt chlorine generators, and other pool equipment.
- Install and replace pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues associated with pool systems.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
- Winterize and open pools according to seasonal procedures.
- Educate customers on proper equipment operation and preventative maintenance.
- Complete service reports accurately using mobile devices or service software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work vehicle and job site.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pool Service Technician or in a related mechanical service field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and water chemistry.
- Experience installing and servicing pool heaters, pumps, automation systems, and saltwater conversion systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- HVAC experience is a strong plus, including experience with heating systems, refrigeration cycles, gas-fired equipment, heat pumps, thermostats, airflow, controls, or general HVAC troubleshooting.
- Experience servicing heat pumps or gas heaters is highly desirable.
- General plumbing, electrical, or mechanical aptitude is highly valued.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with seasonal overtime and occasional on-call or weekend work during peak season.
