Kayak Pools is seeking an experienced and motivated Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled professional with hands-on experience in pool installation support, liner replacements, plumbing, and equipment service. This position involves travel throughout New York and Pennsylvania to support our installation crews and ensure our customers receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Travel throughout New York and Pennsylvania to support pool installation projects and address post-installation service needs.
- Diagnose and resolve pool equipment, plumbing, and operational issues.
- Perform liner replacements for both customer-purchased replacement liners and warranty-related projects.
- Inspect completed installations and identify any necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs, repairs, and resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service work, expenses, and job-related documentation.
- Operate and maintain a company-provided service vehicle.
- Properly manage company credit cards and submit approved expenses in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in swimming pool service and repairs is strongly preferred.
- Experience with:
- Pool equipment installation and troubleshooting
- Pool plumbing systems
- Liner replacements
- General pool construction and maintenance
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout New York and Pennsylvania.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with customers at all times.
