Metrology and Quality Control Inspector

Step into a day of precision Start your day validating the calibration status of measurement equipment, then move to acceptance testing on incoming materials from external suppliers. You’ll record findings with care, collaborate with Engineering and Production to remove roadblocks, and close the loop by documenting issues and resolutions. Throughout, you’ll follow the policies and procedures of Aztech Locknut Company and keep data flowing accurately through our systems. Choose your growth path We’re serious about development. After your first 90 days, you’ll select a formal path and begin approved courses and projects:Quality Inspection Track: Pursue ASQ certifications such as Quality Inspector, Calibration Technician, and Certified Quality Technician.Mechanical Engineering Track: Build applied engineering skills alongside production and engineering teams through structured coursework and projects. What you’ll do Execute daily inspections using established criteria, procedures, and a range of metrology tools.Inspect products received from external sources and disposition findings.Perform and/or verify equipment calibrations and keep accurate calibration records.Partner closely with Engineering and Production to resolve quality concerns during manufacturing.Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, nonconformances, and corrective actions.Complete accurate data entry to support quality records and reporting.Adhere to all policies and procedures of Aztech Locknut Company. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in quality or related field is a plus).Experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a similar function.Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.Comfort working independently and in cross-functional teams.Knowledge of quality control methods and tools.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
