We’re a small, fast‑paced plumbing contractor looking for a dependable Parts Runner & Light Equipment Operator to support our field crews. This role keeps jobs moving by delivering materials, organizing tools, and assisting with light excavation work. Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver plumbing parts, tools, and materials to job sites
- Maintain organization of inventory, tools, and storage areas
- Communicate with technicians to prioritize daily needs
- Operate light digging equipment (mini‑excavators, skid steers, trenchers)
- Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and general labor tasks
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Keep company vehicle clean and in good working order
- Represent the company professionally with vendors, customers, and team members
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with light excavation equipment (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and time‑management skills
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Basic plumbing material knowledge is helpful but not required
