Recruiter - Skilled Trades Team
Axion Recruitment is a specialist recruitment firm operating exclusively within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors. We recruit across Skilled Trades, Production, Engineering, Technical, Managerial, and Director-level roles, partnering with manufacturers in Food & Beverage, Plastics & Packaging, Machinery, Automation, and Industrial Manufacturing environments across the U.S.
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Skilled Trades Recruitment Team. This team focuses specifically on production, maintenance, and hourly-paid manufacturing roles, supporting the wider Axion business which delivers recruitment solutions across all levels of manufacturing organisations.
We are looking for ambitious, driven, and coachable graduates or trainee recruiters who want to build a long-term career in a high-demand, fast-paced recruitment market. - You will be based full-time in our Southlake, Texas office (Monday – Friday).
- Base salary ranges from $48,000–$58,000, with commission up to 22% paid monthly.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with manufacturing clients across production, maintenance, and skilled trades hiring.
- Prospect, cold-call, and develop relationships with a wide range of manufacturing clients.
- Run outbound sales campaigns using calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Attend client meetings via phone, Teams/Zoom, and in-person.
- Negotiate terms and conditions and secure new business.
- Support broader client relationships that recruit at engineering, management, and leadership levels

- Source, screen, and interview skilled trades and production candidates
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines within your niche
- Manage the recruitment process from vacancy intake through to placement
- Prepare candidates for interviews, offers, and start dates
- Handle offer negotiation and candidate closing
- Conduct post-placement follow-ups
- Maintain accurate CRM data and follow internal processes
Experience Required
- Recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in recruitment
- Strong interest in a sales-driven, performance-based role
- Prior exposure to sales, customer service, or target-driven environments preferred
