Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity offers a varied role covering daily accounting, month-end close, financial reporting and process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections and cash applications
- Prepare journal entries, account analysis and balance-sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Assist with financial statements, reporting and variance analysis
- Review expense reports and corporate card activity
- Support audits, tax filings, and sales and use tax compliance
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Assist with special projects as required
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end close
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently
