Project Manager- Structural Engineer

Axiom is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage project-based financial operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate project setup, billing, compliance, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesReview time entries and prepare project invoicesMaintain client billing summaries and billing review reportsManage vendor setup, COIs, purchase orders, and AP processingPost customer payments and maintain AR summariesRecord credit card and autopay transactions; reconcile bank and credit card accountsSupport project setup, change orders, budgets, and budget vs. actual reportingManage lien waivers, pay applications, and client prequalification documentsAssist with month-end close and financial reporting in accordance with GAAPMaintain contractor licenses and state registrationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3 years of payroll processing experience (IRS Forms 941, 940, W-2, multi-state)3 years of bookkeeping and month-end close experience3 years of experience with Trimble Spectrum ERP and QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelQuickBooks Online certification preferredWhy Axiom?At Axiom, we’re not just hiring employees; we’re seeking visionary team members ready to push boundaries and make a significant impact. we are committed to building high-performing teams through modeling and encouraging a growth mindset and prioritizing curiosity.
