Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Database Programmer/Data Analyst to support our growing team.
Duties include:
• Design and support population of data warehouse-like solutions to meet customer requirements within the constraints of the current business IT environment, supporting the upload and metadata tagging of data from shared drive and SharePoint sources.
• Develop data model describing data elements and how they are used, following procedures, to include mapping data between source systems and data warehouse-like solutions.
• Develop and maintain standards for the design of data warehouse elements, such as data architectures, models, tools, and databases.
• Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, process flow, data dictionary, database descriptions.
• Develop and implement data extraction procedures from other systems
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Active TS/SCI CI poly or ability to obtain a CI poly
• Minimum twelve (12) years of experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience in computer science, information technology systems, system engineering, database development and management.
• Demonstrated experience with developing data models and supporting artifacts.
Desired:
• Master degree with significant quantitative analytic focus.
• Working knowledge of major NGA systems and future initiatives.
• Working knowledge with Systems Engineering, Acquisition, and Budgeting processes.
• Strong history/experience in customer-service, able to advise on tactical and strategic issues. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently, and as a team member; ability to establish a network of contacts.
Demonstrated strong organization skills required to manage large, complex databases.
• Demonstrated ability developing database procedures, such as ingest, metadata tagging, backup and recovery procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, test and implement database solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people in an organization, relying on good communication skills to provide support and ensure database design meets requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate the major points for technical solution well to working and senior audiences.
• Merge multiple workload and population datasets that involves use of advanced functions of Excel and other statistical applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint development, and database development tools to include Microsoft Access.
