- Duration: 12 months with potential to extend
- Lead the implementation and delivery of occupational health programs and services.
- Conduct injury/illness assessment, triage treatment, and continuity of care.
- Conduct health surveillance programs and provide health education.
- Perform ergonomic assessments and case management.
- Facilitate return to work processes.
- Collaborate with human resources, legal, and safety for regulatory compliance (OSHA, ADA, HIPAA, FMLA).
- Evaluate and manage workers' compensation injury and illness cases.
- Manage leave of absence, including STD & FMLA.
- Oversee Occupational Health Clinic operations, including staffing and supplies.
- Deliver medical surveillance and clearance programs for the site.
- Maintain medical information in compliance with OH, legal, HIPAA, and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with Safety and Industrial Hygiene on risk assessments, medical recommendations, and accommodations.
- Work with HR and site management on work accommodations, return to work, EAP, Fit for Duty, ADA, Drug and Alcohol policies.
- Assist Safety in the medical aspects of the Emergency Response Team.
- Support company Wellness and Healthy Being initiatives.
- Offer evaluation and treatment for work-related or non-work-related injuries and illnesses within scope of practice.
- Assist in accident investigation from a medical perspective.
- Administer vaccinations as appropriate for the site.
- BSN or BS with 3-5 years of occupational health experience preferred.
- Occupational Health Certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work autonomously.
- CPR/AED certified.
- Registered Nurse with unrestricted license.
- Case Management experience required.
- Knowledge of EAP, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA.
- Occupational knowledge including epidemiology, occupational and environmental health, toxicology, safety, industrial hygiene.
- NIOSH approved Spirometry course completion preferred.
- CAOHC certification preferred (can be obtained).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
