Visiting Nurse Health System (Visiting Nurse) is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) - not only a skilled professional but also a calm, compassionate, and empathetic presence who cares for our patients.  This role is not just about being an OT; it's about being a significant part of our patients' journey, educating and managing the therapy that's appropriate. We are seeking an individual available to work Monday through Friday, with a flexible work schedule. This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Our corporate office is located in Dunwoody, GA 30346.

In this position...

• You will provide direct care, patient education, and the management of the applicable therapy (physical, occupational, or speech) called for in the patient’s treatment plan.
• Consult with and educate other care team members concerning applicable patient assessment and treatment protocols.  
• Serve as a rehabilitation resource for the care team.  
• Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy services, assess service needs on an ongoing basis, arrange additional therapy services required, and obtain physician orders for such services.
• Clinical record documentation demonstrates compliance with physician orders for care provided and the frequency of visits.
• Ensure clinical documentation and Oasis time points are complete, accurate, and submitted with an error rate of less than 20%.
• Serves as a preceptor to others when needed or requested.

Do you have....

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• 2 years of experience full-time OT
• Home Health experience preferred
• Current GA OT License
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
