AXA XL Risk Consulting is looking for a qualified Machinery Breakdown Account Consultant who will partner with underwriting teams (multi lines of business) to evaluate machinery breakdown account risk quality. With the Monoline MB UW team the Account Consultant will also coordinate the scope and delivery of property loss prevention services to clients - ultimately supporting our profitable growth strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Utilizing internal and external information, tools and resources to evaluate account’s machinery breakdown risk quality and communicate this evaluation to underwriting team members.
- Managing the scope and scale of loss prevention services delivered to monoline MB UW clients, based on client expectations, underwriting requirements and service cost constraints.
- Partnering with brokers to deliver an excellent level of customer service.
- Understand the costumer’s needs to coordinate the delivery of the Risk Consulting services, costumer focused.
- Lending your expertise and experience to continually expand the knowledge and development efforts of other team members.
- Supporting the sales and marketing effort of the group by promoting our brand and service capabilities to prospective clients and brokers - maintaining robust industry relationships.
You will report to the Machinery Breakdown Engineering Leader.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Machinery breakdown loss prevention experience in the following industries: Mining, Sugar Mills and Refining, Molten Metal Steel
- Insurance industry experience with a focus on Machinery Breakdown perils and loss prevention
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines
- Broad knowledge of industry standards and codes applicable to machinery breakdown and reliability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Communicates effectively with broad range of underwriting and customer partners.
- Proven customer relationship and negotiation skills
- Proficient presentation skills, including written and verbal
- Knowledge of functionality of IT systems
- Engineering or Science based undergraduate degree

The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 104,000 – 182,000.
