Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and responses to care.
- Perform physical assessments and maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordination & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery expectations.
- Clinical Standards & Safety:
- Follow all hospital and regulatory policies related to infection control, medication administration, and patient safety.
- Ensure all interventions comply with state nursing practice acts and hospital protocols.
- Identify changes in patient condition and respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
- Education & Support:
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and families.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain clinical competence.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure & Certification:
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or other specialty certifications preferred depending on the unit.

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and standard clinical software.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
Job Types: Contract, Per diem, Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
