What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at AWC MSO?
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Work with the staff to provide evaluation, monitoring, treatment, and support to the patient throughout procedure and visit.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Administer routine and/or emergency medications per physician's direction, standing order, protocol and/or certification and licensure.
- Assist the medical team with compassion and professionalism.
- Review patients’ health history, consent and other information to ensure it is complete and clearly documented
- Precise communication of information to the Physician and/or other appropriate staff.
- Assist Physician with medical procedures.
- Carry and answer the after-hours phone on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).

Requirements:
- Must be currently licensed in the state of North Carolina.
- Must support access to abortion.
- Preferred experience working in the reproductive health field; preferred experience with assisting with abortions (medical and surgical).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to assist with the daily flow of patients.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Trained for a fast-paced medical care office.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Be detail-oriented and able to perform repetitive tasks without error.
- Pay commensurate experience.
