The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical team in Danville, VA. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our staff and physicians to provide exceptional evaluation, monitoring, treatment, and emotional support to patients throughout their visits and procedures.

This is a fast-paced, highly rewarding environment where you can truly act as a patient advocate, ensuring every individual feels safe, respected, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Advocacy: Monitor patients, assist physicians with medical procedures, and provide unwavering physical and emotional support during visits.

• Clinical Excellence: Administer routine and/or emergency medications per physician direction, protocol, and licensure. Review and document patients’ health histories and consents precisely.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a secure and healthy environment by following clinic standards, procedures, and legal regulations.

• Seamless Communication: Collaborate closely with the Physician and clinic staff to ensure an efficient daily flow of patients.

• On-Call Rotation: Carry and answer the after-hours clinic phone on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).

What You Bring to the Team

• Licensure: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia OR an active multi-state/compact state nursing license.

• Mission Alignment: Must passionately support access to abortion and embody A Woman’s Choice values.

• Experience: Experience in the reproductive health field and assisting with medical/surgical abortions is preferred, but a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced medical care office is key!

• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document legibly and objectively.

  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail (performing repetitive tasks without error).

  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

  • A collaborative spirit—you genuinely enjoy working as part of a team!

• Language: Bilingual skills are a plus, though not required.
