Position Summary
We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our medical staff to provide exceptional evaluation, monitoring, treatment, and emotional support to patients throughout their visits and procedures.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong clinical judgment, and is deeply committed to patient centered-care.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Support: Provide compassionate, professional evaluation, monitoring, treatment, and support to patients during procedures and visits. Act as a patient advocate by offering emotional and physical support.

Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians with medical procedures and administer routine and/or emergency medications per physician direction, standing orders, protocols, and licensure.

Documentation & Communication: Review patients' health histories and consent forms for accuracy and completion. Ensure precise, timely communication of patient information to physicians and staff.

On-Call Availability: Carry and answer the after-hours patient phone on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).

Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing established standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Must hold a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.

Mission Alignment: Must support access to abortion and possess a strong commitment to the values of A Woman's Choice.

Experience: Prior experience in the reproductive health field is preferred.

Experience assisting with medical and surgical abortions is highly preferred.

Experience trained for a fast-paced medical care office environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to document information legibly, accurately, and objectively.

Strong organizational skills to manage daily patient flow.

Demonstrated flexibility in handling multiple tasks and working under pressure.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive clinical tasks without error.

Languages: Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.
