Packing Operator - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Packing Operator
• Pay Rate: $19.00/Hour
• Location: Rockford, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Able to lift and carry 50lbs when necessary.
3. Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
4. Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, quality specification and other related documents.
5. Good written and verbal communication, and basic math skills.
6. Strong math and mechanical reasoning skills.
7. Ability to contribute as part of a team.
8. Positive can-do attitude

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Promote safety as the Number One Priority of all employees.
2. Set up the machine, observe machine operation, and ensure the products is packed according to specifications.
3. Adjust specified tooling and set packing speeds and feed rates.
4. Perform preventative maintenance inspections as required.
5. Observe all safety rules.
6. Assist other Packing Operators with the machine set up and stacking, marking, packing, and transporting the packed products.
7. Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
8. Ability to contribute as part of a team.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned.
10. Jeans and T-Shirt okay, must be work appropriate.
