Deburr Technician

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Deburr Technician

• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$22.00/hr

• Location: Elk River, MN

• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM and Friday 6AM-12PM

• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or GED.

•Entry Level. Position can be taught.

•High attention to detail in order to remove the imperfection.

•Sitting for long periods of time and using your hands.

•You can put one earbud in as long as it is not causing distraction.

•Able to lift up to 50lbs - involve repetitive gripping, rotating hand motions, and leaning over for de-burring tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Removal of metal burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections using sandpaper, files, bristle brushes followed by washing parts in solvent to clean.

•Workstations have chairs to sit at and parts washing station you need to stand at.

•It is working on the same parts. Not a job shop.

•Candidate needs to be precise with their hands.

•It requires attention to detail.

•Sometimes they would have to look through a magnifying glass.
