Avkin is an up-and-coming medical education company, leading the healthcare simulation community with new technology. We design and assemble wearable devices for nursing and medical training purposes. We are looking for a full-time Assembly Technician to assist in the creation of our products.
This position includes the use of simple hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment. An Assembly Technician is expected to follow standardized procedures to create products in an efficient and productive manner while upholding the standards of Avkin Inc.

About the role
In the role of the assembly technician, you will work in a production environment where you will:
- Assemble products with electrical and mechanical components, using basic hand tools
- After a period of thorough training, the technician is expected to perform independently and maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes
- Manage individual workspace and maintain cleanliness standards
- Work individually or in a group setting to participate with other team members
- Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times
- Engage in process improvement and take ownership of your environment
