Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling precision components and products using a variety of tools. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble products and components
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment to perform precise assembly tasks
- Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Conduct welding, machining, and fabrication processes as required for assembly projects
- Read and interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot issues and verify assembly accuracy
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment when necessary for material handling or component transportation
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including quality checks and inspection reports
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial assembly environments with hands-on use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge including blueprint reading, welding, machining, and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance
- Experience working with pneumatic tools, welding equipment, or other specialized industrial tools is preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced setting
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment like forklifts is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety standards related to PPE use, manual handling, and industrial operations
